Overview

The training will be based on the WRI/WBCD Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol – A Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. The course progresses from foundational concepts to practical applications, and encompasses conceptual knowledge, practical application and also science based target setting.

A key aspect usually overlooked in trainings is the preparedness for verification, validation and assurance by 3rd parties of the company’s GHG inventories and support system for data lifecycle management. This key aspect will be discussed during the 3rd day of the training and this would enable participants to build a robust climate action strategy.
